Biocircularity and Green Alternatives

Carbon Negative Footprint

Our production of 10-12,000 tonnes of kelp per year as substrate for our larvae, means we are able to bind 5-6,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalents! While also removing a significant portion of the phosphorus and nitrates in the ocean from traditional fish farming and agriculture. Their waste, is our feed.

A Protein Source Where Nothing is Wasted

The larvae meal has many use cases, first and foremost amongst them, as feed to be used in the aquatic industry. The frass can be used as a high quality organic fertilizer. With its slow release properties that promotes microbial activity, it is an excellent alternative to chemical fertilizers, that induces improved soil health, and vastly reduces the chances of runoffs of both phosphorus and nitrates to oceans and lakes.

Biocircular Economy for a Healthier Planet

We take the sources of energy that can no longer be used as feed for animals or humans, and utilize it as substrate for our larvae. Through their efficient and quick conversion rate, we can create a unique and high quality source of protein, with no additional stress on our global ecosystem. Turning a net loss, into a net profit for our planet.
